Went to the library today, and also last week. These are the things I've got checked out (although I returned two books today, The Journey of Desire and Blankets), which can be split into four main interests: psychology, chef school research, graphic novels, made-into-movie books, memoirs. They kind of intersect at some points. I can't believe I lugged all of these home. These books were HUGE, save for Running with Scissors, which thankfully was a paperback.
Have I said how much I love living three blocks from the library? At the rate I'm reading all these things, I've saved myself a couple of thousand dollars and a lot of closet space. My room is as neat as it can (relatively) be, and so far, I think I've only spent a fifty cents (and it was on an overdue DVD, not on a book).
At the end of all this, I think I'm going to turn out like some sort of tiny, demented Nigella Lawson who watches movies and muscles from lugging things home from the library.

I went to the library today, too. I picked up Black Dossier by Alan Moore. I've wanted to read it, but I heard it wasn't very good, so I decided to read it for free.
I've read both of the Daniel Clowes books you checked out. I liked them both, but I had to read David Boring twice because I kept getting the characters mixed up. There's a page where all the characters are at a table and I kept having to refer to it to keep things straight. Even then I got mixed up.
I'm looking forward to the Daniel Clowes books. :)
